Looking for private music lessons? We currently teach the following:

  • Voice
  • Guitar
  • Ukulele
  • Trumpet
  • Euphonium

Our lessons are competitively priced and taught within the comfort of our home studio. All of our students are encouraged to participate in free recitals, and everyone gets to take advantage of our teacher discount on sheet music.

What do our private lessons look like? We keep our sessions relaxed and comfortable, but we also work hard. Lessons are generally comprised of  instrument-specific exercises designed to help develop tone and technique, music theory, sight-reading, and ear-training exercises, and the study of standard repertoire. Our primary aim is to teach you how to master your instrument and become a strong musician.

We work to give lessons that are appropriate to an individual student’s age and ability level. We welcome beginners who have never read or played a note of music, intermediate students who are looking to take their musicianship to the next level, teens who hope to prepare for a college audition, or adults who desire to return to music and hone their skills. Feel free to call us if you have any questions about whether or not it’s the right time for you to start lessons.

We offer a complimentary first lesson/consultation to answer any questions and get to know your current skill level. After that, we can decide if we are a good fit for each other. We never make you sign a long-term contract, but we do encourage you to stick with it for at least a few months. After all, musicians aren’t made overnight!

*We have our child abuse, state police, and FBI fingerprinting clearances, and we are happy to present them upon request. We keep an open-door policy here, and parents are welcome to observe lessons as desired. As parents of three kids, we understand that safety is a top priority.
