Hi! I’m Abi. I’m a mom of four kids and a music educator. I’ve been teaching voice for nearly 15 years now while continuing to actively study and perform. Singing is one of the great joys of my life, and it’s an honor and a pleasure to work with my voice students.
Our voice lessons focus on:
- Using your voice in a healthy, sustainable way.
- Developing the voice in areas like range, tone quality, vowels, diction, and vocal placement.
- Connecting with the breath and support system.
- Becoming literate in music reading and sight singing.
- Fostering musicality in your singing.
- Learning vocal techniques that you can adapt to a variety of styles.
- Performance skills such as nerve management, effective delivery, audience communication, and logistics.
I expect my students to work hard and make an effort to learn things outside of their comfort zone, but I also expect them to have a lot of FUN singing.
Before you ever sign up, I want you to know whether or not this is a good fit for you and your goals. That’s why I offer a free consultation and a mini-lesson so we can get to know each other, ask questions, and try out singing together.
